What is Sui?

Sui treats assets as objects, which lets many transactions run in parallel and settle in under a second. Smart contracts are written in Move, a language designed to make asset handling safer.

Only part of the 10 billion SUI circulates; the rest unlocks on a schedule to investors, the team and the foundation.
